Description
A nice day hike through the forests of western Maryland. The hike is not rigourous but there are many trails that allow you to get a good workout. A couple of really nice overlooks are available to the hiker who is a little more aggressive and wish to traverse a few boulders.

Directions to Hike
The park is located in Frederick County, about 15 miles north of Frederick. Go 3 miles west of Thurmont, off route 77, on Catoctin Hallow Road.
