Description
The Maah Daah Hey trail is a 96 mile non-motorized trail. Completed in 1998 by the US Forest Service the trail runs through the Badlands of North Dakota. There is no potable water along the trail. I would suggest contacting a guide service before hiking the entire trail. The beautiful scenery of the remote Badlands makes this hike challanging and unforgetable.

Directions to Hike
Take I-94 to the historic town of Medora. From there take East River road 2.5 miles to the Sully's Creek Campgrounds. The starting point of the trail is marked with a wooden post.
