Description
4 of us Dads took our sons ranging from 12-18 on a 4 day hike of the south loop. A few sections were challenging due to the hills but we had a wonderful time. We especially liked Camp 4 as there was a nice fishing pond nearby. It is also bordered by a creek for the boys to hunt crayfish. We recommend around 5 miles per day for the younger ones so that you have plenty of time to play.

The trail head is located on SR 125 just north of Portsmouth
