Description
I have been backpacking for over 20 years and this trail is by far my favorite. There are many things to see on the trail (an old mine entrance, Indian mound, scenic overlooks, remains of old towns, etc....) The campsites are nicely spaced. There is drinking water available. I never had a problem leaving my car parked at the trailhead. The is an old furnace across from the parking lot which is very cool.
