Description
Trail is being improved or restored by Troop 452 scouts. We have cleared just around 2 miles of trail. The view is great from the top. Grade on Top is 1 or 2 but you do have to cross the 3rd bridge which is narrow. Highest cliff around 200 ft drop to water. Water fall of 9-10 ft at the furthest cleared point. Trail not explored beyond this point but you can follow it further east to the road about 1 mile.

Directions to Hike
Find Short Mountain Cove. Check in with park attendant. Only bad bridge is 3rd one. Spiro, OK Hwy 9 west to 59 north.
Kerr Mansion just before Dam. Turn Lt
end road turn Rt look for signs. Cove closed winter but go to boat dock park
Hike over through Short Mountain cove trail unmarked cable across old road at head or trail.
