Description
Registration is required at the Betty Dunn Nature Center but there are no fees for the overnight loop.

The first day is a short hike from the trailhead to the first campsite which is located approx. 3 miles into the hike. The second day is much more strenuous but provides amazing views. Day 2 is roughly between 2 and 2.5 miles but you spend this time dropping 800 feet in elevation and gaining it back in 0.7 miles. Campsite 2 is at about 5 miles in. Day 3 is long but relatively easy with great views of Fall Creek Falls and Cane Creek. The final day is about 8 miles of hiking.

Make sure to stop and take in the scenery, it's worth it.

Directions to Hike
From Nashville take I-40E to Cookeville exit #288. Turn right onto 111 South, continue on for approx. 45 miles. Take a left at Fall Creek Falls sign (hwy 284?) turn right into park entrance.
