Description
A very steep hike with great rewards. The Chimney's are one of the greatest viewpoints in the Smokies. Although it is only 2 miles one way, this trail gains 1300' and is not for the faint hearted. It is also very popular, but unless a couple Greyhounds are in the parking lot, it is well worth it.

Directions to Hike
6.7 miles from Sugarlands Visitor Center along Newfound Gap Road.
