Description
Hiked the Virgin Falls this past Friday with oldest son. Found the trail & waterfalls wonderful, but signs for the main trail leading up to the falls could have been better. Also blazes were sometimes confusing. We pitched tents & spent the night @ the Big Branch Falls . The caves were wonderful too! Would recommend good hiking shoes, hiking poles, & aspirin. Great Hike!

Directions to Hike
Take hwy 111 to Sparta Tn. & proceed to Hwy. 70 going north. Make a right @ Eastland rd. Go 6 miles down Eastland till you come to Scotts Gulf Rd. and make a right. Travel 2 miles down Scotts Gulf rd. & you'll see the parking area & Trail Head to your right.
