Description
Located in the "Lost Pines" of Central Texas. The primitive trail within Bastrop State park is a moderate hike, with some mildly rolling hills. There are a few ponds, but I would recommend bringing your own water. It's a great weekend/overnighter when gearing up for a big trip.

Directions to Hike
From Austin, TX take Hwy 71/21 into Bastrop, turn left at Hwy 95 and follow signs to Hwy 21. You will see the Bastrop State Park entrance on the left.
