Description
Beautiful hike to one of the most picturesque lakes in the Rocky Mountains...

From the trailhead, the well-marked trail climbs 2,700 feet in 3 miles thru a beautiful alpine canyon to Lake Blanche under spectacular Sundial Peak. Lakes Lillian and Florence make for nice side trips. A couple of small waterfalls can be found on the south and west sides of Lake Blanche. Rugged peaks fill the skyline beyond.

Directions to Hike
About 4 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon, at the bottom of the "S" curve. At the parking lot is the Broads Fork trail (also excellent), but for Lake Blanche, walk up the paved road east for about 10 minutes to the start of the trail (signed).
