Description
Moderate difficulty, several switchbacks and steep incline. Most of the trail is very well maintained with beautiful views of the highest waterfall in VA. Once at the top a outstanding overlook and benches to enjoy the view. (Stone wall at ledge to prevent from toppling over the falls) :-)

Directions to Hike
Located of of the Blueridge Pkwy. on Route 56. From I-64 take the Parkway going South.

The folks at the Montebello campground (just a few miles away from the trail) could tell you all about this hike. Many camp and hike the trail the next AM.
