Description
One of the most grueling day hikes I've been on to date. This hike climbes 1500 feet over the 10 mile rout. Due to the frequent elevation changes, this hike takes about 10 hours. Expect plenty of acents and decents along the southbound rout. GREAT BOULDERING!! Given, if you want to actually make it to Tinker and back before nightfall, climbing will fill a very small portion in your overall trip. Aside from bouldering, there are amazing overlooks and wildlife. I also noticed a unique microecosystem that existed on Tinker Mountain.

Directions to Hike
For your 20 mile round trip hike, take 81 to exit 150A. The parking lot is right off the exit. Walk past the guard rail to the AT. ENJOY!
