Description
This quick day hike provides an incredible 360 degree view of the valley for such a short ascent. The trail is steep in parts and there's a little bit of rock scrambling at the top. Avoid this hike on holidays- it can get very crowded. This trail connects to the AT if you'd like to hike farther than 1 mile.

Directions to Hike
From I64, take exit 99 (Afton) and follow the signs to Blue Ridge Parkway. After passing the Howard Johnson, make a right at the stop sign onto the Parkway. Humpback Rocks Parking Area is 5 miles on the left.
