Island Campsites
Reservations: No
Apostle Islands National Lakeshore offers the opportunity to get away from it all by camping on remote islands surrounded by the waters of Lake Superior. Camping opportunities range from developed sites near docks to minimal-impact wilderness camping.

Please note that there are no National Park Service campgrounds on the mainland unit of the national lakeshore, and island campsites are not accessible by road. Though the islands are inaccessible to trailers such as the one in the picture to the right, RV's can be accommodated at several nearby mainland campgrounds.
