Here is a website that you may be interested in. It's all about beautiful old trekking stoves. Lots of Primus, Svea, and Optimus, plus others. Phil your old miltary stove may be in there somewhere.

I have this one. Weighs about 3 lbs. and spits fire like nothing I've ever seen. I also have the smaller Optimus 99 that aluminum. Great little stove that's almost 30 years old now.

Welcome back nigal. Good to see you again. I also have an old Opitmus 99. It doesn't get much use anymore but I wouldn't part with it for anything.
