TownDawg's Son (revisited) “Howdy again TT?ers. Guess what. After a little encouragement from some of the people who have heard my son?s music, we decided to produce a few (Track 1, 7 and 10) of the songs. We got Bubba Moore (Paula Bridges Band's drummer) to play drums, Larry Bedwell (Of Raisin' Cain fame) to play guitar, and Joseph Montgomery (of Rodeo Drive Studio) put bass and minimal keyboards (a la Counting Crows) on the tunes. This way anyone else who might hear him in the future would have the benefit of having some musical context to weigh in his or her consideration. When I posted once before, everyone seemed to think there is a talent here. I am pleased with the results, and I think you will be pleased also. I am convinced that folks will like his voice, and the raw, undisciplined but honest writing. Therefore, I would like to post the URLs for your review. Perhaps you will give it a listen also, or perhaps you are past that. Maybe you are just like me, and convinced we need to try to get his music into someone?s hands that can take this further. I hear artistry, and passion, and many of the basic elements that make for potential success. I look forward to hearing what all of you have to say. http://members.tripod.com/towndawg/rodeo/Track01.MP3 http://members.tripod.com/towndawg/rodeo/Track07.MP3 http://members.tripod.com/towndawg/rodeo/Track10.MP3 If you have a slow computer, then just download one. My suggestion is Track 10. Or if you want, bookmark the URL below and you can just see them all ten songs listed. Its a good avenue for a musician to get some exposure and feedback. Its also a talent developing and promotion mechanism that has involved some of the greats in the record industry (like George Martin).” 7:14:22 PM 9/03/01
