OFF TO SHINING ROCK

“Twelve hours and we're on the road to NC! A layover in MD and VA to see friends, two nights at the Bull City Blues Fest, and then four nights in the woods. My first-ever bping in NC. I'm going with a woman who's into SAR, so part of our trip is going to be having her group's dogs come looking for us. Time for a little stealth camping!
Any of you Tarheels make the Blues Fest, I'll be the guy in a camo jacket with a woman in a wheelchair (no, she's not the one I'm hiking with). I'll try and come back with some pics and a report on how well we fooled the pups. Catch you all in a coupla weeks.”
