“Bear cannister weighs more, but it completely reliable (just not waterproof). I think it's 100 ft (~35 paces) from your tent. All aromatic products, meaning sunblock, toothpaste, etc., go in the cannister. As for smelling like food, don't drool on yourself, or wear a bib and stick it in the cannister.

I think nearly everyone is about half gone by now. This afternoon a Psych on CNN said people can develop mild post traumatic stress from watching television. After what I've witnessed lately, I'm inclined to agree.
