In fact, I was surprised at the amount of security at such a small airport. We almost thought they would delay the departure time because it took so long to get everyone through. “When Desert Storm was in full swing I worked with a nice guy that moved from Bombay when he was a child. We went to eat lunch one day at a Greek family restaurant, they didn't want to let him in. The owner said (in a heavy accent) that they didn't serve middle eastern people. My friend said, (with no accent) "I'm not from the middle east, I am from India and I am a US citizen". The owner said it made no difference to him. It will be interesting (and probably sad) to see the way people treat each other for the next while.”
