Dolly Sods Info
I am planning a trip to Dolly Sods/Roaring Plains area in the middle of October. I've got a few questions for anyone who has experience with the area at that time. Specifically, what kind of weather should I expect? Cold, I'm sure, but how about snow? Are storms prevalent then? Also, what kind of crowds will be there on a weekend? Thanks for any help you can provide.

RE: Dolly Sods Info
Middle of October can be lows of 25 degrees to highs of maybe 80.

Watch the internet weather in the week preceeding.

Dolly Sods WILL be crowded on nice weekends.
And it is lovely!

Roaring Plains is about 500 feet higher and isn't usually crowded.

later dude
