Let me say up front that I am not slamming any of you guys nor will I. You are posting your opinions and I do respect the fact that they are your views and you feel strongly about them.
MY opinion is, that their all of their comments don?t really sound like crock to me. I don?t know that much about Mr. Robertson or Mr. Falwell because I don?t watch their show and don?t know what all was said (the article didn?t appear to be an entire transcript of the show). If I did it would be my responsibility to verify that what they were saying was scriptural, by reading and studying the Bible and praying for an understanding of God?s Word. I am far from being an expert on the Bible and never claim to be an expert. But I firmly believe that the Bible teaches that He will not bless a nation that turns it?s back on him or refuses to follow his commandments either.
I don?t know why God allows things to happen (this may have happened for an entirely different reason than they stated) but I know He knows and that is good enough for me. If the ones listed are the reason it was allowed to happen, it is probably a lot shorter than it should be. Maybe some should even be taken off? ( I don?t know much about some of the ones listed) I feel that Christians can be probably added to it also, WE fall very short of the commands given to us to minister to the world by: sharing our faith, living moral lives, setting examples for others, etc. (We sure are not doing a very good job)
I do know we should be praying for God?s blessing for our country and leaders right now because we are going through a terrible tragedy and it doesn?t look like it?s going to be a quick fix either.

Just giving my opinion, I certainly don?t expect everyone to agree with me and I definitely am not trying to force my belief on anyone either. I?m not trying to get into a ?religion? argument and I do apologize if I have offended anyone.”
