Correct me if I am wrong, but murder is against the law in every state, territory and District. Politicians making a big to-do over it to state for the "record... what is acceptable and what is not" wasn't for anyone's benefit but their own. PR. Hollow apology and the sheep that bite. Baaaaah”

This is kind of what I said when I heard it on the radio today. Isn't lynching murder? Isn't torturing someone already ilegal? It's like beating the hell out of two people. Both beatings are ileagal but if one's gay, that's worse somehow. Lynch laws are like hate crime laws. Redundant. But hey, it's a free thing and it makes things clearer so what the hell? I'm not racist so why would I oppose it?
