“I like swearing, I've always liked swearing and I always will like swearing but, then again, I'm a sailor. I remember being about 5 years old, rocking away in the rocking chair and cheerfully singing s.o.b., s.o.b. over and over. Upon hearing me my mother snatched me out of that chair and gave me a good a$$ whippin'. Years later, when angry at me and my five brothers (for no reason I am certain) she would call us s.o.b.'s. We just sort of chuckled and said "you're the parent, who are we to question." I also think cursing indicates a creative mind, someone with imagination and intelligence and am personally offended when around people who refuse to curse. It should be mandatory and taught in school. To me the whole concept of cursing is ludicrous. A certain word like f-ck is not permissible, but there are socially acceptable words to replace it. Why? If f-ck is not acceptable why are the words replacing it ok? If those words are ok, then so should f-ck. They pretty much describe the same thing. I'm completely fed up with having to placate those who can't tolerate a little color in language because of religious or other reasons. Who made them the standard by which all others must live? Nonetheless, I try to limit myself when in their company. Respect? Hell no! I'm just so conditioned by this completely f-cked up culture that I automatically go along and this s-it really f-cking p-sses me off f-cking royally. Now isn't that just childish? Anyway, f-ck all of you.”
