Ozark Fall Trek Part II

“The other thread was getting very long in tooth. So, I started this fresh one.


When: Weekend of Nov 10 or 17th? Pick your favorite and we will make it so!

I lost track of those wanting to attend but I'll list a few I have written on the bottom of my barefoot.

“I thought this trip was January 25 - 27?”

“I couldn't make it Nov. 10 weekend. I'll be BPing in Alabama.”

“The "official" ECT is Jan. 25-27 (or Jan. 24-27). Something like 15 people have signed onto that one so far.

However some of the locals and other nearbys have been thinking of scouting out the area with an "informal" trip in November. We may not even have a route.

This is fine for picking a good route for January, but the downside is it may detract from the January trip. So I don't know what to say except that it looks like there's 2 Ozark trips now, but only one "official ECT" trip and that's in January.

Don't forget TXWoodswoman for November. She'll probably make both trips.

“Thanks for clearing that up. I recon I'll stick to the January trip then. It ain't fair to Susan when I go two weekends in a row. Especially 3 dayers.”

“Of course, there is no official ECT except what we decide to do in the end. November is great except that a few people have schedule conflicts or won't have anymore vacation days until January. OK that's it, I'm out the door and off to the hills.”

“I had to reach back to find this thread. We might be able to make a trip on Nov. 17, if all my inlaws and relatives can stay healthy. Seems like all we're doing is taking care of everyone else.

I've had my second friend pass away in about a three week span, we're going to visitation tonight.”
