Awesome place!” 9:21:10 PM 9/25/01 RE: 20 milers or more “any certain trails you would recomend in these parks???” 10:44:16 PM 9/26/01 RE: 20 milers or more “Guadaloupe Peak Trail, El Capitan Trail, & Devil Hall. These are the ones I've hiked. They were Awesome. There's more trails on the north side of the park. They look pretty good from viewing them via Gaudaloupe Peak. There was no water at all in the backcountry where I was. Not sure about the North side.” 11:00:56 PM 9/26/01 RE: 20 milers or more “If you look on Phil's Photo Page, the picture of me is from Guadaloupe NP.” 11:38:05 PM 9/26/01 RE: 20 milers or more 8:22:49 PM 9/27/01 RE: 20 milers or more “nice shorts WD” 9:57:39 PM 9/27/01 RE: 20 milers or more “the dude is proud of them purty shorts!” 10:07:15 PM 9/27/01 RE: 20 milers or more “ya dang skippy!” 10:24:53 PM 9/27/01 RE: 20 milers or more “Be hard to get 20 miles in one day at Guadaloupe NP., too much elevation change. Might try Strawhouse Trail in Big Bend. There are a couple of Rail to Trail Conversions that would give a fairly easy 20 miles, Caprock Canyons or Mineral Wells State Parks.” 9:33:07 AM 9/28/01
