I gotta get me a new camera. I've been using an old Olympus so long that I don't have a clue what's out there.
Good luck with the new toy.

Congrats on the new gear, kid. New toys are such fun!

Dude, if your camera is a point & shoot camera, you probably do need a new one, since the auto-everything technology has been impoving so much in the last few years. Go with the Yashica T4. I have yet to hear anything bad about this camera, an dthe lens is very sharp.

If your camera is an older SLR, just keep it. A lot of the older cameras were made much better than they are now. My main 35mm cameras were made in '55, '69 and '71, and they are still going strong.

Mine in an Olympus OM-10. SLR.
It's finally went kaPut. I could get it repaired.......maybe. Just trying to decide if it'd be worth it. My lenses need a little work too.

Dunadan, you're definitely due for a new camera!

Walkindude, tough call on an OM-10. You can buy them in good condition for $125. But check out This Link for a good faq on Olympus (some good repair resources there).

Canuckkid, some nice quality images there! Can't wait to see what your trails look like.
