“get a gregory palisades and your done for life. it is a great pack. add gregory side pockets and it carries a ton. has one large outside pocket. it is a smaller version of the gregory shasta. wife has a gregory forester which is a wee bit smaller but also a real comfortable pack and carries alot. also can add the side pockets for sandals, crampons etc. gregory really stands behind there stuff. hiked 11 days in glacier with companion with a dana design taraplane(sp) and we both thought my gregory out performed the dana and it is somewhat cheaper.”
