He seems to have plenty of time to vent his anger at the system. I wonder how much time he actually spends doing anything about it.

I was a muckraker myself back in the "radical" 60's; loved to bitch about the "system" and it's ills. But I discovered that by doing a little more than carrying on night and day, one could actually change some things and make a difference. I've worked with inner city kids and scout groups, gotten involved in local government, sued my Board of Selectmen for violating other people's rights, donated time and money to causes I believe in, became a volunteer firefighter.

Talk is cheap, Mr. Spock. None of your gripes are going to be addressed by venting your anger - if, indeed, it is anger; for all I know you just may like to throw matches at gasoline to see what happens - at a bunch of people who just want to have fun in the woods. You really ought to find a few sites where you can actually address some of the people that are responsible for both the problems and the solutions. You really ought to get involved with groups that are effecting change.

But please, don't move to MA - the state that outlawed strike-anywhere matches for our own good. We already have enough knee-jerk blame-somebody-and-pass-a-law types. Try buying a gun or even lighting a cgarette here!
