NPR Radio This Morning
I like what NPR Radio had to say this morning, in essence that the strength of America is in its people, and now more than ever, we don't need to neglect education, the poor, the hungry, and the jobless.

RE: NPR Radio This Morning
Right on. The real victory here will be had when, in fifty years, we can look back on this period in our history and say 'look at how far we've come. Terrorists may have been able to strike at the "heart" of capitalism, but our schools, social programs, economy and government are stronger than ever." And, hopefully, we can secure ourselves from attack with as little erosion in personal freedoms as possible(although I suspect this will be the taller order).

Absolutley, America's strength is in its people. We all make a difference in the attitude of our nation. We are strong and resolute. This we surely be viewed as our nations finest hour. Long live freedom, Long live America!

More liberal claptrap from National Peoples Republic Radio. What they really mean by this is that we shouldn't neglect FEDERAL SPENDING on education, nor FEDERAL SPENDING on the poor, nor FEDERAL SPENDING on the hungry, nor FEDERAL SPENDING on the jobless.

I have to agree with bluebelch. NPR has a lot of fine programming but leans far enough to the left to need a stick to keep it from falling over. I personally don't favor such a "strong government" strong armed forces- absolutely but the two aren't the same.and I am afraid that it will be a whopper by the time we're through this.

RE: NPR Radio This Morning
Reuters News service has stopped referring to the Terrorists as Terrorists. They said one person's Terrorist is another person's 'Freedom Fighter'.

Boycott Reuters. If it is one of your internet news services get another.

RE: NPR Radio This Morning
Well if it's a "war," aren't they "combatants" now? Do we now call them "enemy forces"?
