Superior Hiking Trail
I got back Sun AM from my week on the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota. The weather was spectacular; crystal clear 7 days in a row, low of 22 high of 70. The woods were in full fall color and beautiful. I had a very good time, hiked the 90 miles I wanted to plus a million side trips and overlook loops. I didn't forget anything or break anything either.

The days are getting short. It's hard to hike 10 hrs a day when there are only 12 hrs of light.

Sure is a long drive though (735 miles to the trailhead).

I have a lot of pics I'd like to share when they get back, and a trip report is in the works.

This really is a great stretch of trail. Between this trip and the spring trip I hiked (the best) 150 miles of the almost 200 total. HIghly recommended.
