“The two shots that look like pics of dirt (18_16 and 11_09) are of Timber Rattlers. Look closely.

Saw TWO rattlers on the same day. The first one, in the morning, was still sluggish from the chill and we moved it off the trail with a stick. The second, in the afternoon, was warmed up and quickly curled into a "strick" posture, rattling away. This one was also quite larger than the first.”
