“I agree, daylight savings seems silly on the whole. Arizona seems to do just fine without it. I went to school in Indiana and I never had a problem with not having it. They always claimed it was because of the cows, they didn't like changing when they got milked twice a year. Now why should eastern Indiana be put into Central Time when it's so close to Ohio which is Eastern. Maybe we should just abolish standard time altogether and go back to each town setting its clocks by when the sun is overhead there. Who cares what time it is anyway? We should all tell time by Coordinated Universal Time and add whatever personal offset is convenient to us.”
