Now ..I go to the farm tomorrow, cover a station for another officer in the morning, then finish off a 24 for an officer who has a wife in the hospital. Then...get up on Sunday go to church , cook for the Youth group, then work from 3 or so to cover another station for the rest of the 24...WORK WORK WORK>>..Hello boys have a nice night...I MISSED you.....”

Back to School Night. I have to make a brief speech welcoming families back on behalf of the school's board of directors.

Saturday
B-Son's soccer game, 8 AM.

Picking up a buddy in the City and heading down to the Stanford-TCU game - it's Homecoming/Class Reunion weekend, so I'll probably bump into people from class years near mine.

Dinner with B-Son's soccer coach and teammate to thank us for bringing the teammate with us back from visiting his grandparents in France.

Sunday
20-25 mile bike ride in hills w/BowlderGal and maybe BowlderSon.

Connect backyard sprinklers to newly installed water service line - check to make sure sprinkler heads don't explode with increased pressure.

Car maintenance (replace various filters, etc.) on Forester - overdue for 90,000 mile service (doing it myself this time to save $$).

Cousin and husband coming for dinner. Must introduce the husband to concept of lawn mower, since they just bought a house that has a small yard. He's not real handy.

“Rather strange! It was clear and looked refreshing. I kept feeling the need to filter but it was just a dayhike, so I resisted. I even slipped off a rock on a stream crossing and dunked my foot. Not used to wet stream crossings any more I guess.”
