lol...I finish up @ work May 2nd!!!!...wooo hooo...& I am taking the summer off.....I am saving every dime I can & going to do some travelling this spring....and spending some time with my kids and in Sipsey....

...oh..BTW...I made it to N AL....having dinner with my son when he gets done doing some photography stuff....& driving home tomorrow...wooo hooo...there's no place like home!!!!”

“Just came back home. Today our company had send us to participate on a driver security training: 'Snow & Ice'. I managed to shoot my little Peugeot off the road, run it through a low snow wall and get stuck in deep snow. Instructors and colleagues came running from all sides. They had to call the man with the traktor, to pull me out there. The Peugoet 206 is fine.

Tomorrow I will do a snowboard course. It's a sort of refresher training, because I haven't been snowboarding for quiet some time and plan to go snowboarding with friends in Austria for a week.
I hope, tomorrow I am not going to shoot myself off the slope and they won't need to call the man with the traktor again, to pull me out.”

“Great Weekend..Kings Mountain SC. Cold (20s for us Southern boys IS cold) but dodged the freezing rain.

Did about 8 or so miles but the cold had really taken it out of the Scouts. Great time though. There is something just relaxing about getting away.


What did you guys do?”

“1.5 hrs. indoor climbing on Friday

On Saturday 2 hrs. walk through the parks and around the town, with some nice views down at the old town and the Alps.

On Sunday 3 hrs hike, through the woods, villages, across the hills and along streams.”

“Ate.”

“Painted and did laundry. Couldn't work out in the yard because of the mud.”

“I'll have two days off in the middle of the week. Can't go backpackin' cause mike needs the car to get to work, but I think i'll spend a coupld days rambling in the dunes if the snow melts enough to drive in there.”

“We'll be packin' round Genoa Peak when she comes (when she comes)...

Oh yeah, dug in on a phat slope at about 9,000 feet, beautiful views of Lake Tahoe ringed with snowy peaks, big, raging fire, hot toddys and slushy margaritas, lots of worthless banter and just a high ole time on high. Can't wait!!!”
