“Last weekend, the Bachelor Party, this weekend the Wedding. Ugh! That shoots two of the best hiking weekends of the fall season!”

Actually I promised I'd take her again this weekend, we had such a great time. She got a kick out of reading the map and figuring out where we were at different times. She chirps away, talking to the trees and the critters, even mimics bird songs. It's a joy to watch, it's all so natural to her.”

I will be consumed until the end of November with closing on my new house & traveling to NY. I will have a small front & rear garden, but they are covered in plants & trees, and I have no idea how to take care of them. I'm hitting the library for some books on gardening this weekend and visiting some nurseries for planting ideas.”
