What are you doing this weekend??

“Opening day for trout season in PA. I should be waist deep in the water tomorrow morning and probably pulling my younger son out of the water a couple of times too. Kids always seem to fall in when there's water around.”

“Well this weekend I am taking care of my neices, 5 and 7 years old. I will probebly take them to the zoo, the fish hatchery and to fly kites. No hiking for me but i love kids and my neices are real treasures so it should be fun anyway :)”

“I'm hitting Joshua Tree this weekend with my Boy Scout Troop and doing some rockclimbing!!! Did a little indoor climbing last night and it was a blast! My arms were sore last night, but they seem to be fine now. Cool Cool!”

“Oh my, Dayhiker! I did that with a gaggle of 12-year-old boys in December. I was still telling them to be quiet and go to sleep at 4:30 a.m. Have fun!”

“Fortunately, 5 year old sister is spending the night with a friend. Our 6 year old nephew will be with us Fri and Sat. The other 2 will only be there Fri. I think we'll go to Chuck E Cheese on Sat. It's Reece's 7th b'day on Sat.”

Strolling across the market, that is held in the streets of the old town, where the local farmers offer their fresh products, vegetables, meat, cheese, flowers.
And I should probably write a couple of emails, to friends that I haven't been replying to for a while.”

“Since January I've been in Red river gorge twice, Mammoth cave once, Brookville lake IN once, Deam wilderness IN twice, and an untold number of day hikes. Check my pic album for RRG from 2 weeks ago. Incredible.”

“...everything's good. Just got back from tubing down the Namekagon with my daughter, her boy friend and Freckles, the wonder dog. Finally got the last section of fence up around the garden. It (the garden) is weeded and all is well therein. My little canoe shuttling job is going well. Just put some red potatoes in the steamer, new york strip steaks set to grill and,...I think I'll have me another beer. Yup, it's all good.”
