RE: Self Description
So is utopia, chili. Doesn't seem to phase the liberals though. You know, if only we'd all think alike, this could be a perfect world.

I just had an epiphany. I'm going to give all my money to an uneducated burger flipper at McDonalds who has five kids.

RE: Self Description
Would you settle for an uneducated computer guy with five kids? ;-)

RE: Self Description
arclite, I consider myself a "liberal" (and I think the definition of that term is open for debate), but I do not subscribe to the theory that it is my way or the highway. In fact, I strongly advocate that multiple viewpoints are necessary for the development of public policy.

RE: Self Description
Winston Churchhill said "if you are under 30 and not a liberal..." etc. Biz a chemistry major? All right! I never would have guessed. So if you are liberal now, and liberals turn conservative at age 30, how long till you turn conservative?

I think you revert back to being liberal again around age 45. Maybe that's it.

Thank God for conservatives! If us liberals were making public policy this would be a scary world.

I am still a liberal though, for 5 more mos.

RE: Self Description
I don't know, Biz. liberals got good ideas too. Depends on what you're talking about. Multiple viewpoints (as chili says) and balance.

That's exactly what I talked about as I gave my Nobel Prize speech a few years back. Unfortunately the podium was too small for my 6'6" 130lb frame.

I believe in kicking people when they are down.

I believe money can buy love, but not time.

I believe soda crackers are for old people and old people smell funny.

I am a motivational speaker.
