“If you get your medical scrubs in a lighter color you'll be able to see if ticks are on them crawling around and just flick them off. I would think that they would keep chiggers from burrowing into your skin.”

“I use light weight hiking pants, usually Rail Riders, love their Weather Pants and they have velcro cuff closures. When its this hot shorts with DEET arounfd the legs to repel the nasties works for me.”

for chigger protect use lots of OFF at boot, sock, cuff, waist, and crotch. i've even used flea collars around my ankles (it works)if u get them try hydrocrtizone w/antibiodic to keep the air off them.

in canada they can't sell any product w/more than 30% deet. stuff sounds dangerous. bad to mix w/other repellents also, i read.”
