“Time to log off and go pick up my kids for the weekend. I hope everyone who is lucky enough to be on the trail has a memorable experience. Those of us not on the trail can plan for the time when we will be.”

“It sure would be nice if we got a day off for the president's birthday, like they do for the Queen of England. Of course, then we would have a lot of people voting for a candidate born on July 3 or December 26, just for the long weekends.”

“This weekend my club is going to do the 19 mile Shirley Creek Trail.It's going to be a blast!

“Snowboarding at Mammoth. Its started snowing on Thursday, so this weekend should be good.

Dunk, is this the weekend you're going? If so, we'll be at the Mammoth Mtn Grill & Bar Saturday for happy hour. We'll probably get there around 5:30-5:45.”

“I've decided somewhat last minute that I'm going to do a solo backpacking trip in the Catskills this Saturday and Sunday, up to Echo Lake. Yahoo! Hope everyone has a great Easter. I'll be spending mine in the mountains! :-)”

“Looks like some beautiful weather is on tap, and I am going to get out and play!! I will be backpacking on the Ophir Creek trail, along the foot of Mt Rose and Slide Mountain. Can't wait for Saturday to come so I can get the heck out of dodge.

“We have a new puppy (Chow & Collie mix) and I took her out for a walk on the nature trail today. The dog had a blast trying to catch all of the butterflies that were out. Who knows maybe I can make her into a good trail dog. BTW she was on a leash.”
