“I like to check out who we all are. But I gotta gripe with some of the pictures I see.

Some of the pictures of people have the people so small in the photo that you can hardly recognize who is there. Typically, there is a person standing with a mountain in the background, or a tree or a canyon or whatever... Then the picture is taken from so far away, that the subject becomes the mountain behind them, and the person is basically a person in front of it. That's fine if you need a size comparison of you and the mountain. But if the picture is supposed to have YOU as the subject, please ask the photographer to come closer and fill the window with YOU, not the mountain in the background. Trust me, there will be plenty of mountain behind you to make us all envious.

I don't wish to come off as completely critical, as I enjoy checking out everyone's pictures. I just really want to put a face with your names.

Just try this once and see what I mean. Next time some one takes your picture for you, let him take it where he wants to(normally 20-30 feet away). Then ask him to take from 6 feet away, and then half way in between. When you get them developed, you'll probably have one with you as the subject, one with the mountain as the subject and one that is something in between...
