“Hello Trail Talk member,
I am asking you a question about the content of trail talk, and how you would like it handled. This same poll is being sent to many Trail Talk members as means to gather information on how the people who post the most would like this site kept. Keep in mind, I am not the web master, I can only display the results of the poll, I cannot make any changes in the way trail talk is ran. Your personal answer will not be told to any one else (as if any one gives a damn), I will keep them private. Results will be calculated shortly. In order for them to be counted you have to return your answer with out hesitation. All ballots returned after the 24th of October 2001, will be voided. All ballot must be sent to my e-mail address of Dom_corleone@hotmail.com. You may only vote once. Please include your trail handle; I don?t know every one by first name.
Some TT members did not get my e-mail last night because I couldn?t find your e-mail address on the threads, nor did I want to search all day for them. I sent out about 50 e-mails, but there are over 150 people on TT, so I sent the e-mail to the most common posters, but if you didn?t get it, please don?t feel hurt. We still love yah, I just couldn?t find your e-mail or I felt that you haven?t posted in ages so it wasn?t worth sending the poll to you.

A commen debte on TT is that there is far to man non-backpacking related topics. When these debates arise we all state our opinions and then the thread dies out, but a genneral censuis of the TT people is never known. My goal is to gain that informationof the TT population and when a debate is stricken up about the content I will have facts to use and not just opions. It was once stated to my self by other TTers that you can never post a fact with out a refferrains; for this cause we need straight up numbers.

Matt has created an exelent web site here, and if you are to do you research (the topic of this thread) I have allways complimented Matt on his master-piece of TT.
This poll is only research. I have a question to ask of you. When a politiotion is having a debate they us many facts, but where do you think those facts come from? Off the internet you might say, well where did the webmaster of that webpage get his/or her's info from? Just a good guess? No, that info comes from polls, and research, and that is what I am doing here.
You do not have to submite a ballot or even read this thread, you are only being asked to state your oppinion in this poll, but no one ever said you have to participate. So if you don't wish to participate thats fine, but keep in mind that if onl 30 people submite a vote, your one vote will weigh heavily on the poll.
