They're predicting 8-10 inches of snow for us by tomorrow evening. I wouldn't be surprised if you see some this weekend at Jordon River!!”

“I've been checking out a boat watching site and the lakesurfing site. Apparently, the setup for this system is stronger than the one that sank the Edmund Fitzgerald. Bolt the tents down out there this weekend, eh?”

“Supposed to snow all three days at Jordan River. I'm beginning to wonder if we might want to bring the tent instead of the tarp. Nothing like waking up in a snow drift!”

“Scattered power outages overnight around Rhinelander and our first ground-covering snow; more on the way for sure. Winds supposed to gust up to 50 or 60 mph today, so we might have surfing on some of our bigger inland lakes, LOL. My wife has to choose between this afternoon or early tomorrow to drive to Marquette. Which is worse, winds at peak today or snow at deepest tomorrow? Well, she's a born and raised Yooper, so I imagine she can handle it.

The Porkies must be getting dumped on as we speak, with that NW wind off Superior.”
