Jump!

“I saw the most awesome film last week at the Denver Film Festival. It was called "Jump". Basically it was about various folks in Czechoslovakia who participate in this exterme sport called jumping. These people climb to the top of rocky crags and jump from crag to crag while hundreds of feet up. I have never seen anything like it! Anyone in the states participate in this sport? According to the producer of jump, there is only 1 known jump in the US and it is at the Garden of the Gods here in CO. I think it would be cool to try. The bummer about this movie is that they don't anticipate it being released in the US. Too bad. I bet if it was released, the idea might catch.”

A mis-step or slip, and your life is forever changed...for the worst. Rock climbing and parachuting etc., I can understand...there's still protection.”

“Hey Stanlee. In the movie the jumpers were tied into and the person on the other tower was also the belayer. Yeah, it looks pretty dangerous and I'm not so sure I would get hooked on something like that but I WOULD try it once on an easy jump, maybe. . .Hell, I don't know.”
