Wanderer, how could you possibly have thought I started this thread?

Besides, if Matt doesn't like it, he should fix the "Search Threads" feature so that old Fuego threads can be brought up. I wanted to post this on the Impeach Bush thread but the search feature doesn't show it.

OK, Good points all around.

The reason I thought you started it, USA, was because there was no name attributed to this thread on the main page... I don't look at all the details & open a thread & scroll back to see who started it... I just "assumed" you did, but now that Ive searched, I know you didn't, so stand corrected. However, you will have to admit that you do contribute to anti-Bush stuff a lot, so I just naturally *assumed* (yes, incorrectly) that you started this one.

Bear has another potentially good point as well, not sure when "fuego" started here.

Sinple, like they are.
USA/violin does not care for Fuego.
They are above the need to use Fuego.
It requires a certain level of intelligence to understand Fuego. Neither has it.

I definitely have fuego checked. Anytime I want to search for an old thread it NEVER shows fuego threads.

I clicked on your link, violin, and it only shows me three threads. It does not show me the "Impeach Bush" thread.

BULL#&%!$

I did a search on 'bias' and four threads came up. Two chatter and two Fuego.
Someone is not trying to search correctly.

I had a problem with Fuego threads & fuego searches. Then the kind soul of Violin advised me to delete my cookies and start fresh.

Look in System (C), Documents and Settings, Your User Name, Cookies.

You should see two cookies with "thebackpacker" in the title.

With your browser closed, delete them both, log back in to trail talk and check "fuego".

do it like I did it, for the computer illiterate, search all files for "cookies". Find thebackerpacker cookies and delete.

Well after following those directions it now works. Plus I managed to delete about 900 other cookies in the process.

Now you'll have to sign into all news sites, etc. that require registration.

If you wanted to delete all cookies, you could have just gone to 'internet options' under 'tools' above and clicked the 'delete cookies' button.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla and sour milk. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the rolled oats, and your choice of additions. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
