“If it's an import, check out having a rebuilt dropped in. My car (86 toyota camry 5 speed) decided it didn't want to shift out of fifth. I got a rebuilt dropped in for $200 + $275 labor instead of $1200 to repair it. K Watanabi (sp?) sells engines, transmissions, etc. with 30-50k miles on it for a fraction of the cost a new one.”
