Good Summer
Thought that I may come back for a visit. I trust all of you had a good summer with long, steep trails, plenty of bears and bugs to keep you company and a cold beer at the end of the trail.

RE: Good Summer
Lobo, I haven't posted hardly at all myself. Went back to MN for the summer, met a beautiful, beautiful girl who is a bp'er and is teaching me to kayak...

Yeah, I'd say it was a good summer.

RE: Good Summer
Tommy, I didn't know there were anymore out there, stay dry. That sucks BS but you could still enjoy the cold beer.

Summer was pretty decent. Nothing can beat those teen summers though!

RE: Good Summer
Yea Spam, It has been eight weeks today since my operation. It was one of those microdiscetomies on L5-S1. I only have about a 3/4 inch scar. Everything seems to be healing okay. I still have some pain. But it is waining. I walk 4 miles a day. And today the doctor has allowed me to start back on my weight training schedule (although very light). All in all it was worth it to have the operation. I definitely will be ready to do a backpacking trip in January and would love to visit Linville Falls again. I probably will not make any trips before then. I had to turn one down last weekend--that's tough.

BTW. Where are you living now and how many months do you have before retirement?
