Good Summer

“Yea Spam, It has been eight weeks today since my operation. It was one of those microdiscetomies on L5-S1. I only have about a 3/4 inch scar. Everything seems to be healing okay. I still have some pain. But it is waining. I walk 4 miles a day. And today the doctor has allowed me to start back on my weight training schedule (although very light). All in all it was worth it to have the operation. I definitely will be ready to do a backpacking trip in January and would love to visit Linville Falls again. I probably will not make any trips before then. I had to turn one down last weekend--that's tough.

BTW. Where are you living now and how many months do you have before retirement?”
