Tilt could be plotting for this takeover in retaliation for the mockery of Spock's miniscule dick. Attorney General John Ashcroft said the warning -- the second this month -- was based on credible information, described by others as coming from an intelligence source with the code names "Nigal" and "Dirt Bag Darryl", that Tilt could post on Trail Talk whining about how debates turn into fights and how Trail Talkers aren't PC. The information did not specify the type of posts or subjects, Ashcroft said. As on Oct. 11, when the FBI issued a similar warning, Ashcroft tried to walk a fine line between giving trail talkers prompt and necessary warnings so as not to cause to many people to fall out of their chairs ROTFLTAO and possibly sustaining cranial injuries. The alert "gives trail talkers a basis for continuing to live their lives the way they would otherwise live them, with this elevated sense of alertness or vigilance," Ashcroft told a news conference. Without giving specifics, Tilt is pandering to both sides on issues by supporting Spock's trolling the citizens of the Trail Talk even though Spock provides no real evidence of intelligence. Speculations as to the size of Tilt's genetalia cannot be derived from previous posts, but one has to hope that it is larger than Spock's miniscule dick. Sadly, Spock will troll again soon with comments like "Death to the evil Empire" and "All Americans are fat and lazy" and Tilt will be there to say "I can see why you people debate politics on a backpacking board. You'd be ripped into tiny pieces anywhere else" and "People should be able to discuss anything under the sun without having it turn into a fight. I mean, we're all adults here, or nearly so! What's the point of it? No one will ever get 'the last word'. What does this say about us? What kind of example does this set?" This bulletin has been sponsored in part by the big oil interests and the Israelis. After all, everything really is their entire fault isn't it? (or at least according to SH)” 12:19:16 PM 11/02/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “sheesh. As far as the PC Police go, when people begin making slurs about a group You belong to, we'll see how well that goes with you. It's that simple. The rest of it is getting pretty childish. You can't beat Spock at his own game because There Are No Winners. Everybody looses! People get all pissed off at some stupid sh!t they read on the Internet, then say something nasty to their wife or kid... what is that good for? "The more you stir a stink, the more it stinks." What good is it? I'd like to have a semi-sane discussion here every now and then, but it's just about impossible. - end of rant -” 2:05:50 PM 11/02/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “"As far as the PC Police go, when people begin making slurs about a group You belong to, we'll see how well that goes with you." People have, well actually it was Spock, but I guess he counts as a person. You see, the group I belong to is called "American Citizen" and Spock has slurred us over and over.” 8:11:50 PM 11/02/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “Tilt. I actually agree with you, to a point. I have a feeling that a true debate can never happen on a board like this, because you can't walk away from irrational thought, it is there to be read again, and again. I recently met a person who was a former Vietnam protestor at Berkley, a radical, and very liberal. By chance, we started discussing a book that we both have read on how societies have evolved over time. The discussion lead to our political views, and, ultimately the current war in Afghanistan. We had an intelligent conversation, and found that we actually agreed on many things, and respectfully differed on many as well. The point is, when speaking about such issues face to face, I think more rational thought goes into the discussion. My 2cents.” 8:51:50 PM 11/02/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “It must be the anonymity of the 'Net. I think there are very few people who would 'act out' in public like they do here... and I must say again, I've seen the same thing in many places. Remember the shootouts at the Sleeping Bag Forum on the magazine site? Whoa, Nellie! I think this place has transcended that one with the latest trend, though. I wonder... do we really wish that the people we disagree with were dead? Looney Tunes, man! How are we going to top that, hmmm? Do you want to go out in the woods with those folks? Not this cowboy. Sh!t no! LOL! (oops, I did say 'end of rant,' didn't I?)” 12:02:46 AM 11/03/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “Like I've said BA, taking Spock to task is a huge waste. He thrives on it. I take Nigal to task because I know that he's basically a good person (don't let it go to your head, nimrod, LOL); I don't think he meant that the way it came out. But that was on a different thread... ? WTF? I think this has cross-pollinated, somehow... okay, back to the terrorists, whomever they are.” 12:14:32 AM 11/03/01 RE: Republican party terrorism “I take Nigal to task because I know that he's basically a good person (don't let it go to your head, nimrod, LOL); I don't think he meant that the way it came out. I apologize Tilt. My post came from my being angry about the other thread. I was doing the very thing to you I went off on you for doing. I am no better for it but I am sorry.” 1:41:55 PM 11/04/01 “gee ma look what I found in the dung heap” 10:38:00 PM 1/15/02 “Wow Thin, if you libs could CAST a vote as well as ya PITCH a fit ya would have a republican in the white house. LOL!” 10:56:07 PM 1/15/02 “Just dredging up old memories and YES I"M BORED!!!!!!!!” 11:01:23 PM 1/15/02 “PAT ROBERTSON: I read your book. When you get through, you say, "If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom (State Dept), I think that’s the answer." I mean, you get through this, and you say, "We’ve got to blow that thing up." I mean, is it as bad as you say? Joel Mowbray: It is. http://www.cbn.com/CBNNews/News/031007d.asp” 7:26:31 AM 10/10/03 “Its good to know that our elected officials are really looking after what is important,.. and I'm glad to know that I read in the paper the other day that they are once again concerned about flag burning. I mean after all there is nothing that pisses me off more than walking down the street and seeing flags burning everywhere. Flags burning here, flags burning there,.. who gives a #&%!$ if the oceans are going to #&%!$ and the water is no longer clean! People are burning flags after all. Save the flags! Save the flags!” 7:28:07 AM 10/10/03 “Wonder if the FBI investigates these nuts.” 10:25:34 PM 10/10/03 “A spokeswoman for Maryland's first lady said the governor's wife made "an inadvertent figure of speech" when she spoke at a domestic violence prevention conference of shooting pop singer Britney Spears. *snip* She talked about the need for "educating our women to get as much schooling as possible, to not become dependent on anyone else." "It is incredibly important to get that message to young women. You know, really, if I had an opportunity to shoot Britney Spears, I think I would," Mrs. Ehrlich said, laughing. "I hate to say that, but you know, like I said, I'm raising a boy ... and I think, 'Oh my goodness, what would I do if I had a daughter who is seeing these images and having peer pressure?'" *snip* Jive Records, the New York-based label that represents Spears, responded Tuesday to Mrs. Ehrlich's remarks only with an e-mailed statement: "Since this unfortunate comment was made at a domestic violence prevention conference, it seems that Mrs. Ehrlich has shot her own self in the foot by promoting violence." http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2003-10-08-spears-remark_x.htm” 11:31:48 PM 10/11/03 “ya'll need to go hiking more often...geesh” 5:31:16 PM 10/12/03 “Let's take 15 year old Charles Bishop of Palm Harbor, Florida. On January 5, he stole and crashed a Cessna into a Tampa high-rise, leaving behind a suicide note clearly expressing sympathy for Osama bin Laden. His age, name, skin color and his family's defensive description of him as a card-carrying member of the Young Republicans Club and a Tom Clancy fan may have averted this young copycat suicide pilot earning the label of terrorist.” 11:37:23 PM 10/15/03 “ 2:29:32 PM 11/01/03 In case you missed it: “ "Bastards like Clark and Kerry and that incipient ass, Dean, and Gephardt and Kucinich and that absolute mental midget Sharpton, race baiter, should all be lined up and shot."” 2:31:08 PM 11/01/03 “What, cut and paste wasn't good enough? You had to post the whole thing as an image? Always pushing the borders, eh vio?” 2:48:29 PM 11/01/03 “Well... they have since changed 'shot' to 'slapped' so the screenshot was necessary. I guess the secret service gave them a call.” 2:59:16 PM 11/01/03 “Miller is a fraud and a lying sack of #&%!$. I wonder why he didn't change party affiliation like the rest?” 5:09:44 PM 11/01/03 “miller ROCKS! and he's from georgia! haha, thanks tilt! HE'S DA MAN!” 6:15:04 PM 11/01/03 “and what are his policies? Just wy does he rock, besides that he said something about people who you don't like?” 6:20:37 PM 11/01/03 “it's not that, it what he said about people i DO like. he loves GW and is gonna vote for him. he said bush is the right man for the job and fuully supports him. too bad miller is retiring......” 6:22:01 PM 11/01/03 “Note: Some confusion has arisen owing to a word change in this column after it was posted last Saturday for a few hours. By way of explanation, the source that I quoted asked pre-publication (but post-distribution) dsto change a word. This is not uncommon when a source rethinks how sarcastic he wishes to be. A corrected version was sent out immediately, but for a few hours Saturday morning, the incorrect version was posted on the web. It was corrected by 9 a.m” 11:12:20 PM 11/03/03 “conveniently left out of violins post” 11:13:14 PM 11/03/03 “If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you. BTW - how can you say I left it out when you copied it from the link I provided? Dumbass.” 7:06:31 AM 11/04/03 “very mature, violin. name-calling really suits someone of your age. and i can say that because we both know that not everyone will follow your link, especially given your pranksterish past. and even with that aside, everyone is still not going to follow the link. im not saying i believe it or dont believe it. but you did leave it out so ppl couldnt make up their own minds. you just decided what was TRUTH and gave ppl half the story. im not going to descend to your level and end this with a derogatory name.” 7:18:50 AM 11/04/03 “doo doo head.” 7:19:38 AM 11/04/03 “not everything is a vast right-wing conspiracy, hillary” 7:27:25 AM 11/04/03 “OK - I'll go real slow now so you can follow. From her column: Here's a note I got recently from a friend and former Delta Force member, who has been observing American politics from the trenches: Either the note was worded that way or it wasn't. Facts don't change "post-distribution".” 7:31:59 AM 11/04/03 “Rewriting of the record is an Orwellian deception. It just shows the lack of integrity shared by most conservative pundits. There are now at least three different versions of the Kathleen Parker column that were published in various papers or websites. These say “lined up and shot”: Daily Camera and Whittier Daily News This says "slapped": townhall.com While the version at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has the whole paragraph removed.” 12:20:06 PM 11/04/03 “Thanks for fixing the thread matt! I guess I didn't have to hit the return key so much.” 12:21:30 PM 11/04/03 Violin “Hey, the Dems/Liberals have been rewritting history for 40 years. You mean the author of a document can't revise it when he decides that it doesn't accurately reflect his meaning.” 12:57:22 PM 11/04/03 “ ”1:00:29 PM 11/04/03 “You mean the author of a document can't revise it when he decides that it doesn't accurately reflect his meaning." NoProb LOL! Thats what I thought, too - Kathleen Parker made up the quote, so she ought to be able to change it.” 1:32:15 PM 11/04/03 “Republican Party Intimidation: (CBS) Mounting pressure and criticism from conservatives has prompted CBS to dump "The Reagans," the network's prime-time miniseries on former President Ronald Reagan. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/11/04/entertainment/main581695.shtml Intimidation = form of terrorism” 8:43:13 PM 11/04/03 “cbs dumped the regan movie because "it was not fair". their words, not mine. guess theres hope afterall” 11:15:02 PM 11/04/03 “Since when are republicans concerned with truth and fairness? LMAO” 8:54:08 AM 11/05/03 “ We Are Publishing This Article by David Horowitz The article you are about to read is the most disturbing that we at frontpagemag.com have ever published. As an Internet magazine, with a wide circulation, we have been in the forefront of the effort to expose the radical Fifth Column in this country, whose agendas are at odds with the nation’s security, and whose purposes are hostile to its own. In his first address to Congress after 9/11, the President noted that we are facing the same totalitarian enemies we faced in the preceding century. It is not surprising that their domestic supporters in the American Left should have continued their efforts to weaken this nation and tarnish its image. Just as there was a prominent internal Fifth Column during the Cold War, so there has been a prominent Fifth Column during the war on terror. By no means do all the opponents of America’s war policies (or even a majority) fit this category. Disagreement among citizens is a core feature of any democracy and respect for that disagreement is a foundational value of our political system. The self-declared enemies of the nation are distinguished by the intemperate nature of their attacks on America and its President – referring to the one as Adolf Hitler, for example, or the other as the world’s “greatest terrorist state.” They are known as well by their political choices and associations. Many leaders of the movement opposing the war in Iraq have worked for half a century with the agents of America’s communist enemies and with totalitarian states like Cuba and the former USSR. We have had no compunction about identifying these individuals and groups. America is no longer protected by geographical barriers or by its unsurpassed military technologies. Today terrorists who can penetrate our borders with the help of Fifth Column networks will have access to weapons of mass destruction that can cause hundreds of thousands of American deaths. One slip in our security defenses can result in a catastrophe undreamed of before. What is particularly disturbing, about the information in this article by former Reagan Defense official, Frank Gaffney, is that it concerns an individual who loves this country and would be the last person to wish it harm, and the first one would expect to defend it. I have known Grover Norquist for almost twenty years as a political ally. Long before I myself was cognizant of the Communist threat – indeed when I was part of one of those Fifth Column networks – Grover Norquist was mobilizing his countrymen to combat it. In the early 1980s, Grover was in the forefront of conservative efforts to get the Reagan Administration to support the liberation struggles of anti-Communists in Centrrist state.” They are known as well by their political choices and associations. In the early 1980s, Grover was in the forefront of conservative efforts to get the Reagan Administration to support the liberation struggles of anti-Communists in Central America, Africa and Afghanistan. It is with a heavy heart therefore, that I am posting this article, which is the most complete documentation extant of Grover Norquist’s activities in behalf of the Islamist Fifth Column. I have confronted Grover about these issues and have talked to others who have done likewise. But it has been left to Frank Gaffney and a few others, including Daniel Pipes and Steven Emerson, to make the case and to suffer the inevitable recriminations that have followed earlier disclosures of some aspects of this story. Up to now, the controversy over these charges has been dismissed or swept under the rug, as a clash of personalities or the product of one of those intra-bureaucratic feuds so familiar to the Washington scene. Unfortunately, this is wishful thinking. The reality is much more serious. No one reading this document to its bitter end will confuse its claims and confirming evidence with those of a political cat fight. On the basis of the evidence assembled here, it seems beyond dispute that Grover Norquist has formed alliances with prominent Islamic radicals who have ties to the Saudis and to Libya and to Palestine Islamic Jihad, and who are now under indictment by U.S. authorities. Equally troubling is that the arrests of these individuals and their exposure as agents of terrorism have not resulted in noticeable second thoughts on Grover’s part or any meanial America, Africa and Afghanistan. Equally troubling is that the arrests of these individuals and their exposure as agents of terrorism have not resulted in noticeable second thoughts on Grover’s part or any meaningful effort to dissociate himself from his unsavory friends. As Frank Gaffney’s article recounts, Grover’s own Islamic Institute was initially financed by one of the most notorious of these operatives, Abdurahman Alamoudi, a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah who told the Annual Convention of the Islamic Association of Palestine in 1996, “If we are outside this country we can say ‘Oh, Allah destroy America.’ But once we are here, our mission in this country is to change it.” Grover appointed Alamoudi’s deputy, Khaled Saffuri to head his own organization. Together they gained access to the White House for Alamoudi and Sami al-Arian and others with similar agendas who used their cachet to spread Islamist influence to the American military and the prison system and the universities and the political arena with untold consequences for the nation. Parts of this story have been published before, but never in such detail and never with the full picture of Islamist influence in view. No doubt, that is partly because of Grover Norquist’s large (and therefore intimidating) presence in the Washington community. Many have been quite simply afraid to raise these issues and thus have allowed Grover to make them seem a matter of individual personality differences. This suits his agendas well, as it does those of his Islamist allies. If matters in dispute reflect personal animosity or “racngful effort to dissociate himself from his unsavory friends. The fact remains that while Grover has denied the charges or sought to dismiss them with such arguments on many occasions, he has never answered them. If he wishes to do so now, the pages of frontpagemag.com are open to him. Many have been reluctant to support these charges or to make them public because they involve a prominent conservative. I am familiar with these attitudes from my years on the Left. Loyalty is an important political value, but there comes a point where loyalty to friends or to parties comes into conflict with loyalty to fundamental principles and ultimately to one’s country. Grover’s activities have reached that point. E.M. No such sentiment motivates this journal. That is half of my last name, WTF!” 3:46:08 PM 12/11/03 “Wounded Knee Turd Blossom??? "How did I get my name, father?" "Why do you ask, Two Dogs Humping?"” 4:09:31 PM 12/11/03 “Hay Phaedrus - The way you repeated paragraphs here looks pretty similar to what 'Turd Blossom' did. Something wrong with your computer?” 4:14:51 PM 12/11/03 “The guy is enough of a blowhard without your cut and paste making him repeat himself. Yikes!” 5:37:03 PM 12/11/03 “Sure looks like the site is messing up the long cut and pastes. Oh and violin, you accusing me of trolling is RICH. You're next after I finish getting Dunadan banned.” 5:45:57 PM 12/11/03 “horowitz is a good man. i'll listen to what he has to say anyday. he backs up my assertions that the left's tactics are harming our country and helping the enemies of our country. guess all that critical thinking ya'll are so good at won't let you see it though. it's ok, well keep the reigns for awhile....heh heh. you know...the environment ain't gonna matter if we are living in a terror filled state of marshall law. you should think things all the way through before ripping your own elected leader over and over at every turn.” 8:19:56 PM 12/11/03 “LMAO” 8:22:35 PM 12/11/03 “Uh, Strat, ol' buddy, while you and I are sort of on the same page (different book, maybe), I think you need to look at some of the things this administration has done. TIPS and the talk of national ID cards ought to give you some cause for concern. We are becoming the new 'Evil Empire'. Fear has become a major selling point. The Bush administration has done more to abrogate civil liberties than any other in the history of this country. The US is fast becoming a pariah much as the USSR was a couple of decades ago. Sumpin's wrong, dude.” 8:30:38 PM 12/11/03
