Fritz - I believe it is spelled Maasai. My friend lived in Kenya a great part of his life. He speaks the Maa language and wrote a book titled, "Doing Theology With the Maasai" based on his doctoral dissertation. Interesting book if you are into theology.”

“Hey...More of a lurker than a newby, I've read this wacked out board for a couple years now. I've only posted a few times, usually on gear-related stuff or tunes/misc deals. And now that I think about there was a punk RA from Minnesota that got me riled up a few times. I've avoided all the insanity for the most part, and don't really even read it anymore. I backpacked a ton for the 4 years before this one, this summer I only got out on one trip -- but got 50+ days in on the river in my kayak, new obsessions are rad. Seems like most folks on here are from out East of Cali, I was kinda thinking there'd be a bunch of other Colorado kids but I guess not. Well, there you have it. See you guys on the interesting threads...
