“my dad had stomach problems for awhile, and had to give up alcohol. he really loves beer, so he started drinking non-alky O'Doul's. that stuff should be outlawed...nas-tee!! you'd think that to someone who loved beer, it would be blasphemous to drink O'Doul's, but... ;-)”

“Had the choice between Labatts Blue Light or Killian's Red last night at the venue. It was a tough choice figuring out which beer I disliked the least.”

“what did you see?”

“I made a delicious cherry stout a couple years ago. I used 3 lb.s of sour cherries and 2 lbs. of choke cherries in a regular stout recipe. It was ready in time for the holidays. It was a deep red color and the sour cherry flavor balanced the sweetness from the dark malt. YUM!
I still like to throw down a couple of Coors Lights now and then.”

“Guiness (yes that Guiness) makes a pretty tasty one. When the wife was preggers we found it. Really not too bad. Kaliper, I think its called. Worth a taste or two or twelve ( and still drive!)”

“Best I ever had was a homebrew. Ginger and lemon ale. He didn't like it so he didn't save the recipe. Anybody got one?”

“They're all nasty. I tried them when I was pregnant. I'd rather have a glass of juice than non-alcoholic beer. They just aren't right!”

“Cherry wheat is pretty good. That cherry stout sounds awfully good, I may have to try making that. Ginger beer, mmmmmmmmmmm. Bacpac, you need to hook up with someone who brews. It's an almost unlimited supply of free beer. That is, if you don't mind something different every time. It pays to volunteer to be a "taster".”

“St. Pauli Girl makes an unleaded, that's the closest to palatable I've found. Kaliber is probably second best.
