Wine!..threadView MessagesRE: Wine!..thread “Boones Farm is why h.s. was so painful.” 3:53:01 PM 11/09/01 RE: Wine!..thread “Boones Farm is what got me THROUGH h.s.” 6:01:53 PM 11/09/01 RE: Wine!..thread “LOL newgirl and Pennsy. How 'bout Cisco? I went through a Nighttrain phase in high scool. I would stumble from party to party with a bottle or 2 saying (extreme drunken slur here) "Drink with me brotha (or sista)!" My high school friends still lay that one on me every time we get together.” 9:21:56 PM 11/09/01 RE: Wine!..thread “'96 Chardonnay from Gallo-Sonoma's Stefani Vineyard... awesome. I like the Chilean Cabernets and the Santa Rita Chardonnays. Some of our BC whites and ice wines are outstanding! I always enjoy French reds.” 12:35:12 PM 11/11/01 RE: Wine!..thread “My absolute favorite is '96 Cabernet Silver Oak Napa Valley! If you haven't tried that, you're missing out. It's funny though. It's my favorite but I've never bought one bottle of it. It's $75.00 a bottle and I only got to taste it at their opening for it at the winery. That's a little too pricey for me. Now, when I hit that lottery, you know what I'll be buying! Another really good one is either the Merlo or Cabernet from Steveno winery out of Murphys, Ca. I'm with you bc, I love French reds. I went to a home winetasting where they served wines from Germany. They were great! You can only order them by the box. Has anyone seen those little charms for wine glasses? I think they're a great idea! I'm always misplacing my wine glass after I've walked away only to come back to say, "who took my wine?!"” 10:41:37 PM 11/11/01 RE: Wine!..thread “While in Napa Valley got to try many great ones I guess I enjoyed Coppola and Burgress the best. I like white and some reds...the best was the red Zinfindel the best. Gee I like them all. Barbara” 11:48:17 PM 11/11/01 RE: Wine!..thread “Or you could take your wine glass with you.” 6:48:47 AM 11/12/01 “I'm gonna try the wine bladder pillow this weekend, but does anyone know how to rinse one out? A friend gave me two empties but they still have dribbles left in them. Is there a way to get the valve off to rinse it out?” 3:52:44 PM 1/17/07 “usually the cap screws off.” 4:17:01 PM 1/17/07 “Von Sthiel Reisling or thier Lakeshore Mist good stuff” 4:29:29 PM 1/17/07 “I tried that Jimmy. Is there a particular brand? I don't know what kind these came from. They are out in the car. I'll fool with it more tonight.” 4:33:28 PM 1/17/07 “ahhhh, that kind of wine bladder. i have no idea. i was thinking of a wine skin. i use the "stovestomper" thing... a pair of water wings cut so it opens up. i am a side sleeper and that damn contraption lets me finally sleep soundly at night. i was shocked. i don't know if that's a stovestomper original or not but i saw it first on his web site.” 5:03:01 PM 1/17/07 “That's the one! You know, a plastic bag from those high end wines that come in a box. Cna you just open the valve and hold it under the faucet? I'll give that a shot if I can't figure out a way to unscrew it. Thanks anywho Jimmy.” 5:12:39 PM 1/17/07 “Nevermind. I got the valves out last night. It's all good.” 8:12:16 AM 1/18/07
